So Thankful

We are very thankful this year for all the memories and new things we have learned and experienced.... Chris, Myself, and Gray were able to spend Thanksgiving this year with Pop B, Grannie, Aunt Tracey, Uncle Doug, Aunt Pacely, Uncle Stoney, Hunter, Blake, Hayden, and Taylor Reese and too many more to list. Tracey and Pacely are Chris's step sisters and Doug and Stoney are brothers-in-law. Starting top left is Hunter, Hayden, Blake (Gray's buddy), Grannie in the middle, Gray and Taylor Reese. Aunt Tracey is expecting grandchild number six.... another boy! We can't wait. We attempted a group photo, Grannie has lots of pictures of all the kids, but not any all together....

Take One! Gray was not having this at first...he wanted Pop B
Take Two! So, in came Pop B...then he started kissing Taylor Reese.!!!
Take Three! And finally...Wah-la! Group photo! You might notice there is an extra little girl next to Blake... That's Annalise, Debbie's Neice, she came out and wanted to be part of the picture. The more the merrier!
We had second go rounds with my parents when we got home tonight....Funny story. We left for Newton on Monday, I asked Chris to get the turkey out the freezer. He did. I get a call from Mom Wednesday night...
-Mom: "Do you have an 18lb Honeysuckle white turkey thawing in your sink?"
Me: "Uh..let me look...Oh MY GOD!"
-Mom: "Thanks for taking MY TURKEY!"
Me: "It wasn't me! Apparently Chris wasn't paying attention (Hmmm) when I asked him to get the turkey out the freezer, he opened the fridge and took the first turkey he saw..."
-Mom: "You better hope I can find a Turkey!"
Me: "Holy Crap...I am so sorry! Take mine out and thaw it."
-Mom: "Yeah, like a 22lb turkey is going to thaw by tomorrow"
Luckily enough... Dad braves the grocery store the night before Thanksgiving and was able to locate a fresh turkey from Rouse's. I must say.. it was considerably more expensive but boy it sure was tasty! Disaster averted... this time. Phew.
Like I said..... THANKFUL!
