First Hospital Visit

Having our baby in the hospital, who was the sickest he has ever been in his whole little life, there was not a damn thing that we could do, was the absolute worst day of my entire life. I felt so completely helpless. It was frustrating, exhausting, depressing and down right disgusting. Finally it has all ceased and he is day by day getting better. He has begun eating a few small meals during the day. I am also giving him some over the counter stuff that will help restore the good bacteria in his belly and intestines lost from all the diarrhea. I took a few shots in the hospital. What else did I have to do? Thank God the hospital had TV's with DVD players on roll around carts because without Mickey Mouse Clubhouse I don't think Chris and I would have made it.
Here we are Thursday morning in the ER--when all this mess really got started....

Here he is, in the Mickey Mouse Zone I call it...Thank you to Grammy and Papa for the Doctor Bear, the coloring book with crayons, and the balloons. Thank you to Pop B and Grannie for the balloons and the shark. Balloons are one of Grays favorites, and he loves that "Feeesshhh" aka shark.
Lastly here is a shot of what the hospital cribs looked like. Honestly...this was the coolest crib I swear I have ever seen. I wish I could have one of these bad boys at home. All the side went up and down, the whole bed even went up and down, one end could raise up if the head or feet needing elevated and there was a scale in it too!

A huge thanks to all that allowed me to blow up their phones with text updates, It actually helped me tremendously. Thanks for all the response texts with concerns and get well wishes. I pray every night that Pyper, Jaycee, Lexie, or Fisher never-ever gets anything like what Gray had. I don't know how he got it but you can bet your behinds that I will kill myself to keep him from getting it again! I am so happy it is all over. I never want to go through anything like that ever again.

New Playset

Hi Everybody...It's me, Grayson! I wanted to show you what my Grandmaw and Sir got for me to play with at their house! I am so excited. Now that I have the new playset I can climb, swing and slide till Grandmaw drags me back inside because of bugs, dinner time, or its dark. THANK YOU GRANDMAW AND SIR! I love you.

4th of July fun at GG's

Grayson and I took off over the bay to spend the day with GG and the rest of my crazy family. We swam all day and had a fabulous lunch. Grayson really enjoyed seeing everybody and jumping from the pier into the "pool". Grayson thought he was one of the big boys and wanted to play on the surf board. I was amazed at him because when Gray would go under water he was holding his breath! He would come up and spit out water. He did not come up coughing. I couldn't believe it. My son really is a fish!

Here is our cousins: Christopher (facing backwards) and Matthew (standing). Im not sure who the third fellow on the back of the board...

This is Grayson and his Great Uncle Boo...kick'n and splash'n. Uncle Boo was his favorite person for the day. Gray yelled "BOO" all day.
Here is the grill master Uncle Boo....slathering on the BBQ sauce. Yummy!

Since it was a holiday I gave in and let Gray have a Coke (at least it was diet!)....He was happier than a pig in the mud. Look at him licken his lips! Ahhhhh.

And lastly just a quick view of the water. It was an absolutely beautiful day. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with everybody. A big thanks to GG, Aunt Sherrie, Nanene, Uncle Boo, Matthew, Aunt Lu-Lu, Uncle Tommy, Katie, Christopher, Ryan, Nadin, Frank, Charlene, Mimi, and Elizabeth for all your help and for making our July 4th a day to remember.
