Having our baby in the hospital, who was the sickest he has ever been in his whole little life, there was not a damn thing that we could do, was the absolute worst day of my entire life. I felt so completely helpless. It was frustrating, exhausting, depressing and down right disgusting. Finally it has all ceased and he is day by day getting better. He has begun eating a few small meals during the day. I am also giving him some over the counter stuff that will help restore the good bacteria in his belly and intestines lost from all the diarrhea. I took a few shots in the hospital. What else did I have to do? Thank God the hospital had TV's with DVD players on roll around carts because without Mickey Mouse Clubhouse I don't think Chris and I would have made it.
Here we are Thursday morning in the ER--when all this mess really got started....
Lastly here is a shot of what the hospital cribs looked like. Honestly...this was the coolest crib I swear I have ever seen. I wish I could have one of these bad boys at home. All the side went up and down, the whole bed even went up and down, one end could raise up if the head or feet needing elevated and there was a scale in it too!
A huge thanks to all that allowed me to blow up their phones with text updates, It actually helped me tremendously. Thanks for all the response texts with concerns and get well wishes. I pray every night that Pyper, Jaycee, Lexie, or Fisher never-ever gets anything like what Gray had. I don't know how he got it but you can bet your behinds that I will kill myself to keep him from getting it again! I am so happy it is all over. I never want to go through anything like that ever again.
We are glad that he is okay!!! Fisher wanted to come see his friend but we did not need the sickness!!!
